New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)
New Brunswick Canada’s Maritime province
The NBPNP is New Brunswick’s Provincial Nominee Program.
As an economic program, this program selects and nominates qualified business people and skilled workers from around the world who is willing to reside in New Brunswick and contribute to the local economy. Applicants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a New Brunswick Provincial Nomination Certificate, which will allow them to apply for Canadian permanent residence with processing times that are faster than other Canadian immigration streams. The NBPNP accepts applications under the following immigration categories:
- Express Entry Labour Market Stream
- Skilled Workers with Family Support
- Skilled Workers with Employer Support
- Business Applicants
Express Entry Labour Market Stream
Aligned with federal Express Entry System, you may qualify if you are a skilled worker in the federal Express Entry pool. This stream allows the NBPNP to use the federal Express Entry immigration selection system to meet New Brunswick’s specific labour market and demographic needs. This stream nominates individuals who will live in New Brunswick and contribute to the New Brunswick economy through full-time, ongoing employment.
Skilled Workers with Family Support
An applicant may qualify if you are a skilled worker who will live and work in New Brunswick and who has a close family ties or supporter residing full time in the province. A family ties or supporter should be Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
Skilled Workers with Employer Support
An applicant may qualify if you are a skilled worker with an offer of full-time permanent work from a New Brunswick employer.
Business Applicants — this program is temporarily on paused
An applicant may qualify, if he/she wanted to live and actively manage a business in New Brunswick Applicants are expected to make a monetary investment in the business.
